Why Îlot 307 inc.

The name Îlot 307 comes from the science fiction novel, The Immortals, by René Barjavel. The book is about India after the Second World War. Already dealing with the problem of over population, India appeals to the U.S. president for help in dealing with a virus outbreak. President Eisenhower offers a Pacific island refuge where the afflicted can be put into quarantine. The island, know as Îlot 307, become eternal.

When playing a board game, participants form a small island. This «island of fun», far from the cares of daily life, we have aptly name Îlot 307.
